Listing Activity Reports

by Scott Gaffan on March 2, 2011

Listing activity reports keep track of the amount of web activity that each of your listings is receiving and can be sent to your sellers on a regular basis to demonstrate your marketing efforts. They can also be a great differentiator to bring up during listing presentations.
Notifying the seller that you take your online listing marketing seriously and monitor activity where possible and that you like to keep them informed by sending regular monthly reports could set you apart from other sales associates. Your competition may not offer this same service.  It may not be available to them, they may not know how to generate these reports or they may simply forget to mention it.
I put together this post to show you how easy it is to send listing activity reports from the main online Real Estate search sites. I’ve listed the main sites here that most of you have access to, that allow listing activity reports to be generated. Check with your individual MLS to see if they offer access to activity reports for the public side of their sites.
Also, if you know of any other online listing site that allows listing activity reports to be generated without paying a high membership fee, please post a comment and share. : – )
